How we count your hours
Only the time when someone is talking counts.
Before anything is turned into text, Ashley checks whether someone is actually speaking. Quiet stretches, gaps between conversations and background sound with nobody talking are skipped. Nothing gets written down for them, and they don't use your hours. So leaving Ashley on all day only costs you the talking.
An example. You switch Ashley on at 9am and off at 6pm. That's 9 hours of her being on. If people were talking for about 2 of those hours, the day uses about 2 hours.
If your hours run out
Ashley keeps listening and keeps the audio. She just stops turning it into text and cards for now. Subscribe or move up a plan and she works through what's waiting, newest first, using hours from the new plan. Audio that's still waiting after 30 days is deleted.
Paying and changing plans
Where can I subscribe?
Paid plans open at launch. Then you can subscribe in the Ashley app with your Apple account, or on this website with a card. On the website you sign in with the same Apple account you use in the app, so the plan is on that account wherever you use it.
How do I cancel or change plans?
If you subscribed in the app, go to your iPhone's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. If you subscribed on the website, open Subscribe and choose Manage subscription. Either way, the plan stays on until the end of the month you've paid for.
Is there a yearly plan?
No, only monthly for now.
